Trim Levels

The Silverado 2500 is available in five trim levels: the WT (or work truck), the Custom, the LT, the LTZ, and the High Country. Let's take an in-depth look at the trim packages available for this heavy-duty truck in Kinder, LA.

WT (Work Truck) - the Work Truck trim offers everything drivers in Lafayette, LA, need in a pickup truck. The base engine is a 6.6-liter V8 gas engine, but the Duramax diesel is also available with this trim. You can configure this truck with either a rear-wheel or four-wheel-drive, and the truck is standard with an auto-locking rear differential.

A 2.5-inch trailer hitch receiver is standard on the WT trim, as are 17-inch silver steel wheels. Drivers will notice that the grille, bumpers, door handles, and mirror caps are all black. The seats are vinyl, but you can choose cloth upholstery.

The Infotainment 3 system is standard with a seven-inch touchscreen display that gives the driver access to a wealth of information. A backup camera and teen driver technology are also standard.

Custom - the Custom trim builds on everything in the WT trim, and drivers have the same engine options. However, the standard wheels on the Custom are twenty inches and fashioned from aluminum, plus they have Grazen Metallic accents. The grille matches the color of the body, although the bumpers are black. Trailering mirrors are heated, and they sport integrated turn signals. The upholstery is cloth, and the floor is carpeted and covered with rubberized floor mats. Remote keyless entry is also standard.

LT - the LT scales the aluminum wheels back to seventeen inches. The bumpers and grille are chrome, and the EZ lift tailgate with standard power lock and release. The infotainment touchscreen upgrades to eight inches, and a Wi-Fi hotspot is standard.

LTZ - The LTZ upgrades its trailering capabilities to an advanced system that offers many more safety options. Chrome accents adorn the exterior of the Silverado 2500, and drivers will enjoy LED headlights (including daytime running lamps), power mirrors perfect for trailering, leather upholstery, hitch guidance with hitch view, and a remote start.

High Country - this is the top trim of the Silverado 2500, featuring a powered tailgate, a factory-installed bed liner, a Bose speaker system is standard, and not only is there a rear, but a bed view camera. This Silverado 2500 offers extra safety features, including rear cross-traffic alert and lane departure warning.
