Chevrolet’s Silverado lineup offers the strongest pickups on the market, especially the 3500 HD. With a powerful engine and durable exterior elements, the 2025 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD is the pinnacle of toughness.

Performance

There are two engine options for the new Silverado 3500 HD: a 6.6L V8 gas engine and a 6.6L Duramax Turbo-Diesel V8 engine. The standard 6.6L V8 gas engine offers 401 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 464 lb.-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm. The available 6.6L Duramax engine generates a whopping 470 horsepower at 2800 rpm with 975 lb.-ft. of torque at 1600 rpm.

Exterior

The Silverado 3500 comes with a roll-formed Durabed that’s made with strong steel to withstand any kind of cargo. Inside the Silverado’s cargo box, you’ll find twelve standard cargo tie-downs that are rated at 500 pounds per corner. The CornerStep rear bumper is an innovative feature that comes with two textured pads located within hollow foot inserts at each corner of the bumper to provide added stability when climbing into the truck bed.

Interior

Inside the Silverado 3500, there’s a 40/20/40 split front bench that can seat three passengers. This bench has an under-seat storage compartment for small items like work tools. The back seat is a 60/40 split bench with seat bottoms that can be lifted up to expand your truck’s cargo versatility.

Technology

The brand-new Silverado 3500 comes with a 7-inch Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system that provides smartphone connectivity through Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. These systems use Bluetooth technology to connect your smartphone to the truck. With voice command pass-through, you can use voice controls to make hands-free phone calls or send text messages.

The Silverado 3500 also has 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability for up to ten devices. This includes tablets, laptops, and smartphones. The Silverado’s 5G hotspot works within fifty feet of the truck, allowing you to use the internet outside the vehicle.

Safety

A wide range of collision-avoidance keeps you safer in the Silverado 3500, including Front Pedestrian Braking and Following Distance Indicator. Front Pedestrian Braking monitors the area in front of your truck and activates hard braking if a pedestrian or cyclist unexpectedly enters your path. Following Distance Indicator measures the distance between your Silverado and the vehicle in front of you by displaying the time between you in seconds.

The 2025 Silverado 3500 also comes with OnStar Basics with Automatic Crash Response. When a severe collision or accident is detected, Automatic Crash Response puts you in touch with an emergency advisor through speakers in your cabin. From there, your OnStar emergency advisor can send first responders to your truck’s location.
