4 Reasons to Love the 2025 Chevy Traverse

1. It Can Go Anywhere

The Chevy Traverse doesn’t just handle city and highway driving. If you have the  Z71 trim, then you can also head out on the trails for some fun, as it’s the best trim for off-roading. Its 2.5-liter turbocharged engine has an output of 326 lb-ft of torque and 328 hp, giving it power that you can really feel. You can haul up to 5,000 pounds of outdoor gear with you, too, thanks to the vehicle’s strong engine and rugged build.

Terrain Mode lets you tell the Traverse what surface you’re on so it can adjust its performance to suit the situation. This trim also has 7.78 inches of ground clearance, all-terrain tires, suspension dampers, and twin-clutch all-wheel-drive.

2. It Can Enhance Your Safety

No assistance features are a replacement for safe driving habits, but Chevy cars do have several driver assistance features to help you stay safer in situations that can be hard to navigate alone sometimes. For example, it has Forward Collision Alert, which helps you become aware of situations where you’re in danger of crashing into the car in front of you.

If you’re distracted or tired, causing you to drift into the next lane, then Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning will activate. Other standard and available features aid you in various ways. These features include Rear Pedestrian Alert, Driver Attention Assist, and Blind Zone Steering Assist.

3. It Lets You Use Your Smartphone Hands-Free

Every Traverse has an infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing you to access smartphone features through the 17.7-inch standard infotainment screen. Features you can use include calling, messaging, voicemail, and music streaming. Voice commands let you access these features without letting go of your steering wheel.

The infotainment system also has Google built-in availability, navigation capability, and an available 3-year trial of SiriusXM.

4. It Lets You Enjoy Personal Space and Stay Comfortable

Adults can enjoy comfortable rides in all three rows of the Traverse without feeling cramped. The first two rows have over 40 inches of legroom, and the third has 32.13 inches of it. There are almost 40 inches of headroom in all the rows, too. The cargo area gives you plenty of space to store your luggage, with 22.9 cubic feet of room available behind the third row and up to 97.6 cubic feet of cargo space when the second and third rows are folded down.
